I am Alyssa, and I own and Operate Alyssa Alex photography. I am an event, people, and location photographer running around Des Moines whenever I can and photographing anything and everything. I believe that self expression is the key to my success as a photographer, but above all else, being able to enjoy interacting with people. And that is why I love doing what I do. I approach all jobs and subjects with positive energy, knowing what is expected and articulately finishing the task at hand. Hiring me means that you also have a love of the arts and expression, an open mind, and you would like unique, high quality photographs whether for web, promotional material use, or printing.

My work can not be defined to one specific genre. I take many things into consideration when shooting and unless otherwise specified I derive idea's and composition based on the situation. Feel free to ask for specifics but when doing so keep in mind you are hiring an artist.
